What is remarkable is that the windows were fitted perfectly because the measurements first taken were accurate. As manufacture depends on accurate measurement, this cannot be rated highly enough because any error would be costly.
The workmanship of Michael is excellent; they appeared when they said they would, were courteous at all times, worked fast, and did not leave a mess! Can’t ask for more than that! Highly recommended

Michael’s 20+ years of industry experience in selling, measuring and installing double glazed windows in the UK and Victoria certainly showed with the professional approach he took at each step from selection of the product through to final installation.
Michael made very clear what product he was selling and why. Our bedroom faces a busy and noisy road and while the thermal insulation properties are important, the noise control was our main objective.
Michael’s accurate measuring was critical. There was no provision for adjusting on site for any error. Michael’s understanding of the whole process ensured each unit arrived ready for installation.
The skills of Michael in the installation phase were most impressive, both working quickly and cleaning up as they went. Remarkable attention was paid to every detail, ensuring not only that the windows and doors operated correctly but that all trims were fitted to deliver an aesthetically pleasing end result that now provides much more restful sleeping conditions. We just had installed a big window in each of our three bedrooms by Thermal Double Glazing. They are manufactured in Australia, and are very advanced, superior windows, being argon filled double glazed, with a high-tech uPVC frame.
We are very satisfied by the service of the company. Our initial enquiry was answered promptly, and Michael came a long way to inspect our house and give information on the product. His quote was done quickly, and he maintained contact with estimates of the arrival time of the windows.
The installation was done at our convenience, and Michael arrived an hour before the estimated time, (just before 8 am) and they worked solidly until just after 5 pm, by which time the job was finished. There was a minimum of disruption, and all the elements of the old windows and frames were removed, leaving no mess for us.
The workmanship is very professional and skilled, and the windows look wonderful. I wondered if the frames might look like plastic, but they look like enamelled metal, and are very stylish. The quality is obvious in the hinging and tight sealing, and the sashes open in a vertical plane as well as a casement manner. The blinds are neat and attractive, and ingenious in design and convenience.
We mainly wanted the windows for sound-proofing, which they achieve extremely well. Of course, they also provide thermal insulation to a high level. I do not hesitate to recommend these windows. While they are expensive, they are well worth any cost above that of usual new windows, and they will be durable for a life-time.
Michael has been efficient and amiable to deal with, and the whole process has been a pleasure.

Thank you Michael, the wait was worth every moment. Albeit, we only installed a window and exterior door (doggy door included) at this stage, the rest of the house is scheduled into the budget. Having seen the quality of windows and doors throughout Europe, finding Thermal Double Glazing and doors fulfilled our desire to have high performance uPVC windows and doors of German engineering; design and quality, throughout our home. The measure was perfect, as both items fitted perfectly into the deteriorating frames of our 1920’s home.
It is evident that Michael is a high quality builder, the measure, quote and installation were professionally executed, they arrived on time, worked with respect for our home, all debris was removed, and we were left with superior quality products, in approximately four hours.
Even the doggy door is an example of European engineering excellence.
Compare carefully when choosing these products, there are several cheaper versions “made in China” – no comparison – but cheaper!

- It has been four months since you installed double-glazing in our home and I wanted to send you a note to let you know how much we are enjoying it.
It was a big decision to change over all the windows and doors in our 130-year-old period home. You were so respectful and talented at preserving the heritage features around the windows and provided such good solutions with the windows themselves and in maintaining the period feature glass where it existed. We were also amazed at how quickly you installed the windows – they all fit perfectly, there was minimal disruption and you were incredibly tidy!
You would never know that we made such a big change, but pleasingly our house valuation has increased due to the known benefits of double-glazing and your workmanship with our period home.
The noise has significantly reduced which was a really important factor given we are on a main road and tram line. Our house has felt much more insulated and this was validated with our recent bill which was nearly 30% cheaper than normal.
Another surprise bonus was that our house is now much cleaner! I didn’t realise how much dust and dirt was getting in through the doors and windows until you sealed it all.

We live in East Malvern in a Victorian era brick home (built circa 1897). We love the heritage feeling of the house but not the rattling windows and drafts.
We did a lot of research and the team at Thermal Double Glazing gave us great advice and we decided to have two doors and two windows replaced.
The doors, especially the front door (a ‘Tenby’ Solidor – black with brass fittings), and the ‘horned’ style casement windows match the heritage style of the original fixtures and look amazing. We are very happy with the final result. The team at Thermal Double Glazing were professional, on time and very tidy – nothing was too much trouble.
- Michael was a pleasure to deal with. No ‘sign-up now’ deals with false mark-ups then marked down. He provided the best advice to meet our needs.

After a very unpleasant experience with a large and highly promoted UPVC double glazing company, it was a relief to deal with Michael of Thermal Double Glazing.
Michael essentially rebuilt our old timber framed windows to accept UPVC double glazed units to retain the style and look of our home.
Thermal Double Glazing also installed French doors and several other double glazed units to our home which have greatly reduced the noise intrusion of the main road traffic as
