Thermal Double Glazing were professional and courteous from the first point of contact all the way through to the end of installation. We needed to replace our original 1960s steel framed windows with 3mm glass. We had eleven companies quote for the job, but it was only Thermal Double Glazing who were able to promise they could replace our windows without damaging or needing to replace our beautiful hardwood frames/sills or need to replace our blinds. It was very important to us to maintain the character of our home and Michael (the director) with a building background was the first to promise that his team could and would do this and also acknowledge our wishes without making us feel as though we were asking for the impossible. It was also refreshing not to experience the hard sell or pathetic sales tactics that many of the other companies employed. During the quoting process all questions were answered by Michael with honesty and respect. We expressed our desire to have our windows installed before Christmas if at all possible. Michael did everything he could and made it happen.While Thermal Double Glazing were not the cheapest quote we received, the product (German designed, Australian Manufactured uPCV), the installation and the aftercare has been exceptional as promised. The installed windows have resulted in a massive noise reduction, minimal loss of heat and a constant and comfortable house temperature. While we are yet to have our first winter with the windows, we are hopeful they will fix the condensation issues we were experiencing with our paper thin windows. The installation process was seamless and carried out very professionally by Steve, Shawn and Izzy. The team were respectful at all times and ensured that our young family were part of the process and explained what they were doing to help the kids make sense of what was happening to their house. Steve was more than happy to address minor issues after installation (he identified a minor hole in one of the fly screens) and fixed them quickly and without hesitation.We are so happy with our windows, and are thankful for the Thermal Double Glazing team for making the process smooth, for completing their work to a very high standard, and for being respectful and pleasant in all interactions (massive shout out to Steve!). The team did a great job of integrating the installation in and amongst all of the other building work that was being undertaken on our home and we love the new windows, stack back sliders and bifold doors that they have installed. The mechanisms are lovely and the quality is excellent. They have transformed our home.

Thank you Michael and your team for installing the new windows. In Autumn this year I had Thermal Double Glazing replace original single glazed aluminum framed windows with double glazed uPVC windows. I held off my review until winter was over, I wanted to see how they performed. Reducing the cold inside the house was the main reason for replacing the windows. I can very happily say, I am extremely happy with the outcome. In the house, overnight it wasn’t as cold as pervious years, and no more condensation on the inside of the windows in the morning. The added bonus, I no longer hear the neighbours pool filter running or the other neighbours split system air conditioner, it dramatically reduced the noise. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Michael came to measure for 10 windows and 1 sliding door. He listened to what I wanted to achieve and came up with great suggestions, a smart slide door – it glides so smoothly and effortlessly, best advice. And big picture window with a side tilt turn window, to take full advantage of the garden view and it makes the room look bigger. Steve and Shaun are such great workers, left the place neat and tidy at the end of the day and respectful of someone else’s home. It was a pleasure to have them working in the house. And for me, who is into sustainability, it was an added bonus to know this company is also, and is a partner with the Plant-A-Tree-Program.
